摘    要:数学教育的基本矛盾是数学与教育的对立统一,具体表现为社会发展与科学技术进步对高素质数学人才的强烈需求与相对滞后的数学教育观念与现状之间的矛盾;数学教育的多种目标和多重功能之间的关系与矛盾;数学素质教育的理念与应试教育的现实的矛盾;数学教育中传统文化与现代化的矛盾.解决好这些矛盾和关系决定着数学教育改革的成败.

Abstract:The basic contradiction of mathematics education was the unity of opposites of its mathematical aspect and educational aspect, which was consist of the following 4 aspects: Firstly, the relation and contradiction between the strong demand for person with high mathematical ability as the social development and the progress of science and technology and the relatively backward notion and current situation of mathematics education; Secondly, the relation and contradiction between multi-objectives and multi-function of mathematics education; thirdly, the contradiction between the idea of quality-oriented education and the examination-based education of mathematics; Lastly, the contradiction between traditional culture and modernization of mathematics education in China. Solving these contradictions and conducting these relations properly was the key for the success of the reform of mathematics education.
