| 摘 要： | 精武体育会是我国近代影响最大的民间体育社团之一。经对比研究后发现，精武会的早期运作在许多地方模仿了基督教青年会在华发展的经验。精武会在通过借鉴获得巨大的发展动力的同时，加速了体育社团在国内的崛起与社团发展格局的本土化，同时也完成了与近代民族主义的发展目标顺利达成共识。文章对二者的相似点进行了比较，并以此出发对精武会的发展再加考释，以期窥得近代中国体育社团发展脉络于一斑。
