Modulatory effect of catecholamines and corticosterone on proliferative activity of thymic and splenic lymphocytes
作者单位:MPH Radiobiology Research Unit,PRC
摘    要:<正> Epinephrine (E) in concentrations of 10-1000 nmol/L,norepinephrine (NE) in concentrations of 100-300 nmol/L and corticosterone (CS) in concentrations of 1 - 50 pmol/L potentiated the reactivity of thymic and splenic lymphocytes to Con A as well as the spontaneous proliferation of thymocytes in normal mice. It is first reported in the present paper that catecholamines (CA's) and CS showed a synergistic effect in potentiating the reactivity of thymic and splenic lymphocytes to Con A when they were added to culture in concentrations ineffective each of its own. The implications of these results were discussed.
