| 摘 要： | 长期以来，有关图书情报工作人员地位问题的讨论持续不断，似乎已成为图书情报从业者经久不衰的话题。笔者根据所在医院建设与发展对图书情报的需求和个人从事医学图书情报工作30余年的经历，简述一下图书情报工作的重要性、必要性及从业人员所处的地位。
