Application of Drug Balloon in Coronary Small Vessel Disease

Previous studies have shown that coronary small vessel disease are prone to in-stent restenosis and in-stent thrombosis after the implantation of drug-eluting stents,thus becoming a difficult problem in the field of coronary intervention in recent years.As a new technology in the field of coronary intervention,drug-coated balloons(DCB)can quickly and evenly release anti-proliferative drugs to the vascular wall without stent implantation,and inhibit the excessive proliferation of neointima.More and more studies have shown that DCB has a good effect on coronary small vessel disease.This article reviews the application of DCB in coronary small vessel disease.
