Abstract:With the development of optical coherence tomography (OCT) technology, the thickness of macular ganglion cell complex (mGCC) and related parameters can be detected and reflect the damage degree of ganglion cell, which includes the three-layer structure of the optic nerve fiber layer, ganglion cell layer, and inner plexiform layer, and varies in different stages of different diseases. The detection of mGCC has certain significance for the early diagnosis of the disease, the performance of each stage, the treatment effect and the prognosis. This article reviews the changes of mGCC in various ophthalmic diseases measured by OCT.
