| Abstract: | This research project is funded by the Depatment of Higher Education, Ministry of Education and the Department of Medical Science Technology & Education, Ministry of Health, P. R. China. Five research papers are produced by the research project. This paper, one of the five papers, introduces background of the study and outlines of the framework for assessing the financing, cost and efficiency in higher medical colleges and Universities. It also introduces the major contents of the rest four papers following this paper in this issue. |
