Abstract: | Summary Two methods were compared for estimating of Gibberella fujikuroi grown with different proportions of glucose and starch. They were, =Ln2 (Vr/Le) on Petri dish (Vr= rate of tip extension and Le= mean hyphal length) and, 2=d (LnX)/dt in stirred fermenter. Values of 1 and 2 were in close agreement with each other. |
