Abstract:Conjugal transfer mobilizing system is an effective tool which can facilitate the transfer of DNA between cells. The vector plasmids and mobilizing strains which compose the conjugal transfer mobilizing system were constructed from oriT and Tra by means of broad host range mibilizable plasmid This system can be widely used for the genetic analyses and manipulationso of bacteria, yeast and plants. This paper summarizes the principles and procedures of the construction of this system, and covers the developments and applications of the system. The range in which the system can be used is also discussed.
