两年一度的中国国际机床展览会是国际机床界和我国机械制造业的一件盛事。第五届中国国际机床展览会(CIMT’97)又一次荟萃了国内、外各机床厂及相关配套件厂和工具厂的精华,既可看到一些名牌企业享有盛名的产品,也会发现一些脱颖而出的新秀企业所展示的精品。从展览会上我们能深刻地领会到机床工具行业的发展动向,也能生动地观察到琳琅满目的新产品和新结构。从中既反映了丰富多采的世界先进实用制造技术和最新制造技术,也展示了中国机床工具行业通过“三大战役”在增强开发能力和竞争实力方面所取得的可喜的巨大进步。

Review for Technical Characteristic of Main Exhibits at CIMT'97

A discuss and analysis are made on technological characterises and development trends based on important machine tool products both from home and abroad on show such as machining centers, CNC lathe, gear cutting machines, metalforming machines, EDM and new manufacturing technologies and equipment, for example, NC or CNC technique, manual - NC machine tools, water jet cutting technique and rapid prototype technology and equipment. Events shows that the trends of machine tools and related technologies: machining center is toward higher speed; CNC lathe is toward higher productivity and combination; gear cutting machines are toward NC, high precision and efficiency; NC presses types are toward variety; machining acurracy and efficiency of EDM machine are further higher; the development of new structure of machine tools is strengthened in order to suit high efficiency, high speed and combination machining; softwares are playing important roles both in machine tool control and measurement; NC - manual operated machine tools are more and more; rapid prototype manufacturing technology become practical in China; and water jet cutting technology is applicated widely. We hope that the article will give readers a brief understand to development of machine tool technologies both at home and abroad, advances of machine tool industry in China and see where we lag behind.
