This paper introduces a method of similar measure and weighted similarity measure between fuzzy sets. How to select loader arms should be based on the simiilarity measure between fuzzy sets. The similarity degree between design and desired ones should be as an evaluating value. The bigger the value of similarity measure is, the better the similarity degree is. It also offers a real example to show that selecting loader arms based on similarity measure between fuzzy sets is feasible.
