Abstract:The braking performance testing is the important step of the quality detection before the commercial vehicles leaving factories.The results will impact the driving safety directly.This paper introduces a kind of braking parameters detection system of drive axle,which is in Industrial Personal Computer as the core,PLC as the control device and based on software and serial interface communication technology.Through the bake tests on the test-bed,it can collect and analysis many parameters of the drive axle to determine qualified products,such as the braking time,braking torque,braking force,braking distance etc.At the same time,the test result will store in the software database for reading and printing.Comparing with the traditional detection mode of viewing from the test,this system has the superiorities of precision,Intuition,the higher automaticity to cut down the rate of mistake greatly.
