Foreign Application Progress of Roll Bending with the Elastic Medium

Roll bending with the elastic medium is an advanced technology for sheet metal forming which combines the principle of traditional roll bending with the advantages of stamping of the elastic medium. It has become a new developing direction of sheet metal forming. This paper introduces progress of roll bending with the elastic medium in foreign countries. The working principle and operation sequence of all kinds of roll bending machines, including universal machine, specialized machine, automation machine, CNC machine, are described.
