Technique and Internal Quality Control for Heavy Forgings |

Abstract: | It is an
effective method of studying the theory of forging control for heavy forgings by using the
modeling technique. The physical and numerical modeling technique, such as high
temperature moiré method, was developed for its outstanding advantages in reducing
experimental period. Because the severe quality problems existed in the production of
heavy forgings, the forming process of internal faults in heavy forgings and relative
factors were studied. The phenomena of shear band in the deformation, microcracks
congregated around inclusions, damage and recovery of faults were discovered and their
principles were investigated further. It plays an important role that the standard was
established in improving the product quality. |
