Abstract:This paper introduces the principle of PC control superplastic bulging of rectangular box, and deduces the mathematic model of the rule of optimal pressure, in which the center angle is the independent variable. This paper analyses the characteristic and the calculating effect of the model, which is suitable for computation and convenient for deforming control. It also introduces the hardware structure of the control system, the function and flowchart of control system software that was designed and developed on VC++6.0 by the author. The result of bulging experiment by using the control system indicates that the control system performs normally, controls exactly, and it can also improve the forming limit of superplastic bulging of rectangular box and shorten the deforming time.
