摘    要:<正> 地理标志保护制度是我国的称呼,在国际上又称为原产地名称权保护制度。它是20世纪以来世界上多数国家为有效保护本国的特色产品而采取的重要制度体系,也是世界贸易组织的"与贸易有关的知识产权协议"(TRIPS 协议)中所认可的通行保护规则。自1994年我国将地理标志纳入商标法律体系予以保护以来,经过社会各界的共同努力,地理标志在引导和促进农民增收方面,成效显著。其中"信阳毛尖"获得地理标志后,成为信阳市发展特色农业、推动农业产业化发展的关键途径。

Geographic Signs Become A Gold Signboard of Xinyang Tea
Abstract:Geographic signs and its protection systems have been highly regarded by most countries in world and under Trade-Related Aspects of Intellectual Property Right, TRIPS. Since Xinyang Maojian Tea obtained geographic sign, it has paved the way for Xinyang to impulse agricultural industrialization.Xinyang Maojian Tea has world-wide reputation for its pretty appearance, green colour and strong flavor. It includes several new varieties, such as Longtan, Wuhua, Jiuhua and Wenxin, etc. Nowadays, the area of tea garden in Xinyang has reached to more than 50,000 ha. Xinyang annually produces spring tea and dried tea approximately 8,000 tons, and summer tea over 6,000 tons. The total production value reaches 800 million RMB. The total investment of society is over 1.2 billion RMB. There are nearly 130 towns and 1300 villages can achieve mass production with over 1200 various tea gardens. Actually, Xinyang has formed a new structure to develop tea industry.
