Evaluation and Selection of the Fabric for the Anti-Static and Clean Room Clothing

The selection of fabric is very important for the anti-static and clean room clothing. It definitely determines the feasibility of the next manufacture process and the safety of the clothing. Varieties, performance indexes and evaluation criterions of the anti-static and clean room fabric are introduced in this paper. The fabric samples are selected for the measurements of air permeability, ESD performance and particle prevention performance. After analyzing the testing data, the influencing factors are obtained for the anti-static and non-particle performance of fabric, the correlation of all the factors is also found. The key points to evaluate and to select the anti-static and clean room fabric are given out for the references of the enterprises and research institutes which design, manufacture and test this kind of clothing.
