| Abstract: | The waste paper stock was used to study the effect of the dosage and sequence of PEO and PFR on retention as well as that of themolecular weight of PEO on it. The effect of anionic surface active agent was also studied. Results showed that optimal effect could be attainedin the PEO/PFR retention system when the PFR dosage was 0.05% , that the adding sequence affected the retention with the optimal order beingPFR preceding PEO, and that the system had comparatively strong capacity against the interference of anionic impurity. |
