将在2002年颁布的最新重负荷柴油机标准PC－9的焦点问题主要集在中3个新台架：Curmmins M11EGR,Mack T-10和Caterpillar 1QEGR，该标准同时也包括了一些模拟评定方法，这些新试验能确保提高发动机和高温和高烟炱工况下的耐久性，新设计的柴油机为了满足日益严格的和法规而采用了延迟喷油（喷油提前角减小）以降低废气中的NOX含量，“紧”的环岸设计以减少燃烧废气中的颗粒，这些措施都促进了发动机内烟炱的产生，针对这种情况推出的PC－9重负荷柴油机是目前发展最完善的柴油机标准，采用了低硫和正常含硫两种燃烧进行试验。

NEW SPECIFICATION OF DIESEL ENGINE OIL PC-9

The newest PC 9 heavy-duty diesel engine oil specification for 2002 focuses in particular on three new engine tests like Cummins M11EGR,Mack T 10 and Caterpillar 1QEGR including some simulation evaluation methods also.These new tests can ensure better durability of engine at high temperature and high levels of soot in the crankcase.The high soot level is a result of applying retarded fuel injection timing used to lower NO x,EGR,and combining with high top-ring locations used to minimize particle.The PC 9 is the most robust diesel engine oil specification,using two kinds of fuels including low sulfur content and normal sulfur content to test.
