Accurate expression of tooth thickness of internal involute gears.

Three different expressions commonly adopted for calculating the tooth thickness of an internal involute gear by ball-measurement are discussed and the error of each of the three expressions are exposed. And, in light of the formation of involute surface, an accurate expression serving this purpose is derived.
