也谈东西方管理理念的差异及启示

摘    要:东西方管理文化不同,对管理本质的理解和认识也就不同。西方管理注重实用主义和个人主义,权力级差小;注重物的使用,突出制度、规范的作用,属于“硬性管理”。东方管理则注重整体性,忽略个性发展和独立人格,权力级差大;强调人的重要性和主观能动性,以柔见长,属于“软性管理”。通过对东西方管理理念差异的探究,观察、发现、体会和分析我国企业管理实践中的现象与问题,以融合东西方管理思想精华,扩大企业管理的视野,适应新经济时代对管理理论的需求。

Abstract:Management culture in the West is different from that of the East,so are the understanding and knowing of management nature.The West management emphasizes pragmatism and individualism,has less difference in power levels;pays more attention to usage of things,stresses function of system and standards,belonging to "hard management".While the East management stresses integrity,neglects individual development and personality,has great difference in power levels;emphasizes individual importance and subjective initiative,good at flexibility,belonging to "soft management".Through probing,observation,discovery and experiences of the difference in management idea between the West and the East and analyzing phenomena and problems in China's enterprise management practice,compromise cream of both West and East,enlarge view of enterprise management,and meet requirement of new economy age to management theory.
