Fine management of petroleum engineering in medium-deep progressive cavity pump wells

To improve the management level of progressive cavity pump(PCP) in medium-deep wells, the analysis of pump inspection reasons combined with the existing problems as well as the law of pole force was carried out to establish the relevant strategies for each management part of the screw pump wells, such as the quality, technology and site management. Through the measures, technology and on-site management levels were increased. It laid the foundation for the pump inspection cycle extension and the maintenance costs reduction. Management pattern of PCP well was changed from simple empirical type to theory and practice linking through various management measures improvements. It is of great significance to improve the petroleum engineering of PCP wells.
