Conservation and Management of Rural Cultural Landscape in Famous Scenic Site

Although there are a large amount of rural areas in China’s famous scenic site,rural cultural landscape is not listed as protected scenic resource.Conservation of rural cultural landscape in famous scenic site improves the protection of rural natural and cultural heritage,enables reasonable use of the area’s natural resource,as well as decreases the conflict between the famous scenic site’s management body and local community.This article discusses the ways of setting up protected rural cultural landscape area in famous scenic site,the area’s development goals,management principles and guidelines in land ownership,management duty,planning of inhabitant social system,planning of economic development and rural landscape planning.
