Planning the Capital and Building a Harmonious and Livable City

Firstly,the planning and construction of Beijing in the past 70 years are reviewed in three stages and seven periods.Then,the background of each period,the main points of planning and the key implementation work are sorted out.Next,the evolution and influence mechanism of several key issues,such as the designated function of city,planning strategy and spatial layout,are analyzed.Finally,the achievements,problems and future development of Beijing's planning and construction are summarized and prospected.
