This article analyzes such aspects of Yangdu Market Town along Yangtze River in Three Gorges as behavior place characteristic of street space, street dimension and street spatial farm, points out that as a traditional market town along the River, its streets and buildings implicates a proportionality and suitability in spatial scale, emphasizes the traditional streets are constructed according to terrain showing the application of space suiting for human, stresses the place spirit of street space,and indicates that we should abstract essence from traditional space concept, consider the suitable dimension, and create wonderful and human-centered street spatial environment in the process of current urban planning and construction.
