The comparison about vacuum preloading method and preloading consolidation method

In recent years the vacuum preloading method for treating soft foundation is often used in the construction of speedway roadbed of littoral and delta area. By the comparison of vacuum preloading method and traditional preloading consolidation method, the vacuum preloading method has many obvious advantages such as high consolidation effect of roadbed soil body, short time limit for a project, good economy benefit and so on. So the author thinks that the vacuum preloading method will progressively replace the preloading consolidation method.
