| Abstract: | The supporting mechanism of New Austrian Tunneling Method as well as characteristics, working principle and construction technology of this method is introduced. In view of soft wall rocks practical measures are proposed to ensure construction quality, which successfully resolve the construction difficulties of large span tunnel in soft wall rocks. |
