综合医院院前过渡空间的特性探究

Exploring Characteristics of the Transitional Space in front of Polyclinics

Polyclinics are important components of public buildings in the city. The key to design success is whether poly- clinics can maintain effective operation in and be in harmony with the urban environment. The transitional space in front of a polyclinic is the interfield connecting the modernised poly- clinic with the urban space, and exploring characteristics of the transitional space is of great importance to enhancement of their relationship. This paper analyses the relationship between the transitional space in front of a polyclinic and the urban system, explores its characteristics and summarises design prin- ciples for the purpose of benefiting the design practice of the transitional space in front a polyclinic.
