| Abstract: | This paper describes how the DC starters match small and medium diesel engines up to 60kW scientifically and reasonably and explains the power selection and gear ratio of starters when matching diesel engines,the influence of starter resistant torque on diesel engine startability,selecting scope of starter characteristic curve,interrelation and key points.The experiential formula for selecting starter power is given as well. |
