| Abstract: | This article reviews the history of the Annual China National Conference for Coal Distribution and analyses the challenges faced by the conference. It suggests that a market-based system for coal distribution should replace the conference. The new system should consist of an improved traditional coal distribution and trading market, OTC coal market and coal future market. |
