Abstract: | An analytical method is presented to investigate magnetothermoelastic waves and perturbation of the magnetic field vector produced by thermal shock in a hollow conducting cylinder. By means of finite integral transforms the exact expressions for magnetothermodynamic stress and perturbation response of an axial magnetic field vector in a hollow cylinder were obtained. From sample numerical calculations the dynamic effect on both magnetothermostress and perturbation of the axial magnetic field vector is revealed and is discussed. |
