| Abstract: | In this paper, a model for fires, namely a Band-Belt-Tread model, is proposed to simulate the lateral dynamical properties of the tire. The model can also be treated as a subsystem and incorporated into the system of a vehicle as a whole for dynamic analysis. It is analyzed under time-varying side slip angle and constant wheel load. The model is very useful in the study of driving properties for military vehicles with pneumatic tires. |
