| Abstract: | Presents a model for the combustion of multiple-base nitramine propellant in which the following aspects are considered:detailed decompostion kinetics of nitramines and their binders;geometric and mechanistic details of the burning surface;porosi istis in propellants,etc.Calculations for burnins rates in the pressure range of 0.1 to 500MPa were made for different nitramine solid propellants.Their results were compared with experimental data,finding good agreement.Mechanisms of combustion of the propellants are accounted for by this model. |
