Abstract:The processing techniques of Iron-Aluminide-binded composite including liquid phase sintering, pressureless melt infiltration and reactive hot-pressing were summarized in this paper. The characteristics of various fabrication techniques and the properties of the composite were compared and analyzed. Lastly, the potential application of the composite was pointed out.
