| Abstract: | Mass Customization and Lean Production are more flexible than the Mass Production and used to overcome the shortage of Mass Production. In the paper, the comparison between Mass Customization and Lean Production is made from different views. The result showed that there is a great difference between two production modes. The different development strategy should be adopt according to the real case of the enterprise. Mass Customization is the further development of Lean Production. Lean Production is the good base for the implement of Mass Customization. The group technology can play important role in the transition from Lean Production to Mass Customization. |
