Abstract:The spinel LiMn 2O 4 was prepared by solid state coordination method which has never been reported heretofore.The thermal analysis of the coordination precursor and the dependence of LiMn 2O 4 performance on the calcination temperature and lithium content as well as the quantity of citric acid were discussed in detail.It proved that this method had many advantages over the traditional high temperature solid state reaction method on such aspects as the synthetic temperature,calcination duration and particle size and its homogeneity,etc.
