利用纹理的两种图像检索方法的比较

在高度信息化的今天,基于内容的图像检索已经成为多媒体处理中的关键技术.纹理是描述图像时常用的一个概念,本文比较了综合纹理和像素中心、综合颜色和纹理这两种利用纹理特征的检索方法.对两百多幅植物花卉的图像库的检索实验结果表明,两种方法各有优点,但综合颜色和纹理的方法更符合人的视觉要求.

Comparison of Two Image Retrieval Methods Using Texture Features

In the high information days,content based image indexing techniques are becoming a key point in multimedia processing.Texture is often used to describe images.In this paper,we comparison two methods both using texture features ,which are the method using texture and image center and the method using texture and color features Experimental results on flower image database show that these two methods both have their own advantages,but the latter fits more closely with human perception.
