Environment Monitoring System Using GIS and Wireless Sensor Networks

Environmental Sensor Networks (ESNs) facilitate the study of fundamental processes and the development of hazard response systems. A Geographical Information System (GIS) is computer system designed to integrate, store and display geographically referenced data. Wireless Sensor Networks (WSNs) is wireless networks of spatially distributed autonomous electronic devices using sensors to monitor physical or environmental conditions. This paper presents the integration of these technologies to monitor vehicle exhaust gas real time, and to create the map of monitoring vehicle exhaust gas in the city.
