信道最优矢量量化技术及其改进

摘    要:矢量量化技术是一种既能高效压缩码率,又能保证语音质量的编码方法。本文在介绍矢量量化技术的基础上,介绍了COVQ算法及其改进算法CAWVQ算法,最后给出了CAWVQ算法的性能评价,得出如下结论:CAWVQ的优点在于,在时变噪声信道中能够以较少的存储量和运算复杂度,获得接近COVQ的性能。

Channel Optimal Vector Quantization Theory and its Amelioration

Abstract:Vector Quantization (VQ) was a theory which can not only improve the result of speech compress coding, but also guarantee the quality of speech. In this paper, Channel Optimal Vector Quantization (COVQ) algorithm was introduced and its improved algorithm Channel Adaptive Weighted VQ (CAWVQ) was proposed. Then the performance of the CAWVQ algorithm was studied, and it indicated that the advantage of CAWVQ was that it can achieve the same performance of COVQ with less storage space and depressed calculation complexity.
