Integrated development of a GIS based information system of land resources in Hunan province

The GIS based information system of land resources in Hunan province is an operable system in which data are derived from remote sensing integrated survey and can be updated dynamically. The establish of this system is based on two principles,system separating from data and graphics data separating from attribute data. The key techniques about system integrated development of this system include programme about data and system based on database, mixed programme about manifold ArcGIS tools associated with database system and visual development tool, programme about data editing and updating, and so on. The resolvent of these techniques has found the technical basic of integrated development of this system.
