地理信息系统和遥感结合的现状及发展趋势

摘    要:地理信息系统和遥感是支撑现代地理学的两大空间技术工具,近年来它们的结合越来越引起了人们的兴趣与研究。文章着重论述了地理信息系统和遥感结合的现状及其发展趋势,包括地理信息系统和遥感结合的内在原因、方式和存在的主要问题,并介绍了加拿大遥感中心在此方面的新的研完成果。

Abstract:Geographic information system(GIS) is a data base system for manipulating digital spatial and thematic data. The volume of remote sensing is such that one must use digital image analysis system(IAS). By combining remote sensing image analysis systems and geographic information systems, satellite imagery with higher resolution can be used to update periodically information in a GIS with new spatial data, in the other band, one could use the GIS thematic data and attributes to improve the accuracy of image classification. Therefore, the research about the integration of remote sensing and geographic information system is essential and important. However, seveal existing scientific and technical probtlems reduce the success of this integration.This paper emphatically describes the present situation and tendency in the integration of remote sensing and geographic information system, including the inherent reasons and the way of this integration and existing primary problems in the integration, introduces the new research achieved by the Canada Center for Remote Sensing(CCRS) in this as-
