| 摘 要： | 网络视频流系统是现代网络上的一个重要的多媒体应用。本文首先介绍了流媒体的概念、工程原理及其支持的网络协议；接着介绍了作为系统采取的媒体格式MPEG-4的相关技术。在此基础上，介绍了基于MPEG-4的视频点播系统的设计、实现及其功能的完善与改进。

| Abstract: | The network video streaming system is a significant case of multimedia application on modern network.Primarily,the article introduces certain things about the streaming media,including its concept,its working principle and its supported network protocol.And then,the article proceeds to the introduction about related techniques of MPEG-4 which works as the system format.Based on these information,the design,implementation of Video-on-Demand based on MPEG-4 and its betterments will be talked about in this article as well. |
