| 摘 要： | 图像编码技术是多媒体系统的关键技术之一。本文分析了基于小波变换的嵌入零树编码方法的基本原理及该方法的不足，并针对这些不足提出相应的改进措施。实验表明，通过改进，缩短了编码时间，提高了压缩比。

| Abstract: | Image coding is one of key technologies in multimedia system.This paper analyses basic principles of inlaid zerotree based on wavelet analysis and its defects,proposes some improving measures,the new zerotree quantization coding method not only decreases the time consuming of encoding,but also performs better in the aspects of high image quantization and high compression ratio. |
