基于MIPS多媒体芯片的软件控制与分层设计

摘    要:介绍了以MIPS架构为核心的SMP8654多媒体处理芯片的主要结构,提出了嵌入式播放系统的分层结构设计的框架,以及使用程序控制芯片对多种媒体格式文件的解码方法.分层结构有利于提高程序的封装性和模块化程度,同时设计的程序控制CPU方法是整个播放系统能否成功解码的关键.

Abstract:The structure of SMP8654 media processor based on MIPS architecture is introduced.The Layered structure of the embedded player system is presented and the use of program for controlling the processor to decode variety of media formats is also proposed.Layered structure will be helpful for the program to improve the level of encapsulation and modularity,and meanwhile,the designed to control the CPU is the key to the success of decoding
