Abstract:The rendering pipeline in PC graphics hardware has become more flexible in recent years. This development is primarily driven by the mass market of computer games and entertainment software. As a resuh, significant progress has been made in Direct Volume Rendering Based On PC Graphics. In this Paper, we present a detailed survey on Direct Volume Rendering based on PC Graphics Hardware and discuss some relating issues.
