摘    要:虹膜定位是虹膜识别中至关重要的环节,根据实际应用中瞳孔内部会由于反光而形成亮点的情况,本文对粗定位方法进行改进,利用虹膜图像的灰度直方图,首先根据瞳孔的灰度分布特点求二值化闪值,采用圆内弦中点平均方法粗定位其圆心和半径,从而减少精定位的搜索范围和计算量,然后利用圆检测算法在二值化图像中进行内圃精定位,与传统方法相比,能够减少内圃定位于瞳孔内部的错误,实验结果验证了该方法的可行性和有效性.

Abstract:Iris location is a crucial step in iris recognition.Taking into consideration the fact that in the inner of pupil,there would have some light spots because of reflection,this paper improved the commonly used coarse location method.It utilized the gray histogram of iris graphics,firstly according to the nature of gray level distribution of pupil to compute the binarization threshold,adopting the method of average of the center of chords to coarsely estimate the center and radius of pupil,so as to decrease the searching range and computation time in fine location.After that,the inner boundary(pupil) was fine located using the algorithm of circular detection in the binary graphic.Compared to the previous algorithms,this method could reduce the error of locating within the pupil.Experiments have shown the applicability and effectivity of this algorithm.
