| Abstract: | The paper describes the basic switching impulse test results of phase-to-phase insulation in EHV substations and overhead lines. An investigation on the electrical strength of multi-electrode insulation systems was carried out. The test results with respect to the different voltage distribution, phase-to-phase clearance and electrode height above ground were also obtained. |
