Abstract:A lot of artificial pollution tests were experimentally investigated in the fog chamber for two kinds of insulators,XP-160 and LD-120 insulators,a large number of test data were obtained,and flashover risk comprehensive assessment based on leakage current amplitude(Im) and flashover voltage(Uf) of polluted insulators was also established.The results show that: probability functions of both amplitude of leakage current(Im) and flashover voltage(Uf) can be described with the normal distribution.Statistical ch...
