Abstract:Delay/Disruption Tolerant Mobile Sensor Network(DTMSN) is the network for pervasive information gathering.Traditional routing approaches may not fit for DTMSN because the network is changeable.Since the activities of different sensors may vary for they are attached to different entities,the message replicated by the active sensors may exit more copies in the network and it has a high possibility of being received by the sink nodes.Therefore,an Activity-based Routing protocol(ABR) is proposed in this paper,in which the priority of the message is decided by the carriers’ activities,and the priority of the message is further used in the processes of message transmission and queue management.The simulation results show that compared with the relevant protocols,ABR gets higher message delivery ratio with lower delivery cost and delay.
