| Abstract: | The revision of international standard IEC 61643-1 for surge protective device(SPD) was explained. Some improving contents of new standard, such as accordance, safety, reliability and maneuverability, were expounded. The explanation would be helpful for improving product quality and testing product correctly for SPD manufacturer. |
